As well as thorough hand washing, an equally critical step you can take is to clean and disinfect hand and surfaces
in your kitchen regularly. The reason for this is that bacteria can survive on surfaces in the kitchen for a long period
of time, and thus, can be transferred to other surfaces very easily. So clean or disinfect surfaces to reduce the risk
of cross contamination by using an antibacterial multi-purpose cleaner, or appropriate disinfectant to clean and
disinfect kitchen surfaces and your hands.
