Feeding recommendation

Syrup Preparation
Cats: 5 ml twice daily*

*1 measuring spoon equals 1 g. Mix 2 g of Slippery Elm Bark Powder with 150 ml of cold water until the powder is fully dissolved, then bring to a boil in a saucepan while stirring continuously. After briefly boiling, remove the saucepan from the heat and continue stirring briefly. A Slippery Elm Bark syrup is formed. Allow to cool and mix with food. The prepared syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for approximately 5–6 days.

Preparation Without Cooking
Mix 1 teaspoon of Slippery Elm Bark Powder with 2 tablespoons of boiled, lukewarm water until a thick, gel-like consistency is achieved.

When mixed with water, the powder forms a natural mucilage that can coat the lining of the stomach and intestines, helping to support the normal function of the digestive tract.

Please note: When administering medication, give Slippery Elm Bark at least 2 hours apart.
