Seaweeds are found througout the world´s oceans, and are plant-like organisms. Seaweeds contain an immense array of nutrients and help pull toxins from the body. Seaweeds are a rich source of naturally balanced vitamins, minerals and trace elements. Ascophyllum Nodosum is a brown-seaweed and is used as a source of food.

Our Tatzenladen Seaweed Powder is a very fine powder made from fresh Atlantic sea algae (Ascophyllum Nodosum). It is a pure natural product free of preservatives, artificial coloring, fillers or additives.

Instructions for supplemental use
Cats should only be given up to 0.3g of seaweed powder per animal per day because of the high content of iodine. The dosage depends on the feeding method used. If your cat suffers from thyroid diseases, please consult your vet or animal therapist before use.

Typical dosage
In a 1000 gram homemade cat food recipe 1/2-1 teaspoon of Seaweed Powder is added.
